Michael bISHARA,md

Medical Doctor

Dr. Michael Bishara, MD is board certified addiction specialist and an internist in Riverside, California. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Hoag Memorial Hospital, Presbyterian Hospital, Riverside Community Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center, Knollwood Psychiatric & Chemical Dependency Hospital. He is an assistant clinical professor at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his internship at New York University and his residency training in Internal Medicine at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He has been in practice of addiction medicine for 33 years. We are honored to have Dr. Bishara's expertise, care and knowledge for our clients at South California Road to Recovery.  

  Angelika Panova, LMFT, PMHNP-RN, DNP

Clinical Director

Dr. Angelika Panova is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She is  Clinical Director for South California Road to Recovery.  Angelika specializes in treatment of various forms of addiction and co-occurring mental health problems; she practices psychiatric nursing and continues her research in the field of mental health and addiction. Angelika works patiently with clients and their families. She currently maintains an outpatient psychotherapy and psychiatric practice in Santa Ana, where she treats patients for various forms of addiction and psychiatric issues. Angelika utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities to help her clients including EFT, DBT, CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Couple and Family Therapy as well as Motivational Interviewing. She is a member of the professional organizations such as Western Psychological Association (WPA), American Psychological Association (APA), American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT), American Psychiatric Nurse Association (APNA). Veronika panova

ADMINISTRATOR

Veronika has an invaluable skill set that includes an extensive knowledge about addiction, administrative and management experiences working at large corporations. She has love for fashion and style, an open and cheerful personality. Veronika is a dedicated and compassionate individual who is focused on helping those in need of finding treatment. Veronika's number one goal is to assist current clients and family members find the best help available. Additionally, she has an experience working with alumni clients as well as an event planning and referral management. Veronika is dedicated to help clients go through treatment as smooth as possible, while lending supportive, compassionate and tender care.

christopher gayle, CADC I

program Manager

Chris is an exceptionally organized and compassionate Program Manager who combines his deep understanding of addiction recovery with strong leadership and administrative skills. Drawing from his experience as a dedicated Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Chris creates a supportive and structured environment where both staff and clients can thrive. His personable and empathetic approach fosters open communication, teamwork, and trust across all areas of the program. With a sharp eye for detail and efficiency, Chris ensures that day-to-day operations run smoothly-balancing compliance, quality care, and organizational excellence. His commitment to continuous learning and improvement keeps the program aligned with best practices, while his calm and motivating presence helps maintain a positive, recovery-focused atmosphere for everyone involved.

Shannon Lance

Associate clinical Social Worker

Shannon is a well-spoken, confident, and personable counselor who brings a strong clinical presence and genuine compassion to her work. She earned her Master of Social Work from Cal State Fullerton in May 2025 and is currently an Associate Clinical Social Worker. Shannon is supervised by both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), ensuring comprehensive clinical guidance and professional development. She is dedicated to supporting clients through evidence-based, client-centered care and is passionate about helping individuals build insight, strengthen coping skills, and work toward meaningful change. Shannon is a valued member of the clinical team, and her professionalism, warmth, and commitment to quality care are an asset to the program.  

Andrea Rios

Associate clinical Social Worker

Andrea is a dedicated Associate Social Worker whose warmth, energy, and genuine compassion make her a natural fit for working with individuals in recovery. She is deeply committed to supporting people as they rebuild their lives, helping clients develop coping skills, strengthen self-confidence, and move toward stability and wellness. Her greatest passion lies in working with families. She believes healing happens not only at the individual level but within the entire family system. Through patience, empathy, and encouragement, she helps families improve communication, rebuild trust, and create a sense of peace and harmony at home. In addition to her clinical work, Andrea actively volunteers in the community and has experience supporting youth in foster care. She is especially passionate about empowering young people, helping them feel heard, safe, and capable of building positive futures. She brings enthusiasm, kindness, and a hopeful outlook to every interaction, meeting each person with respect and dignity. 

Brittani Delgado, CATC III

Brittani is an energetic and creative young woman who brings passion and purpose to every connection she builds. With a natural ability to inspire collaboration, she thrives on creating meaningful partnerships that strengthen community impact and visibility. Her organized and strategic mindset ensures that outreach efforts are not only innovative but also sustainable and aligned with the organization’s mission. She approaches her work with warmth, authenticity, and a genuine belief in empowering others—especially young people and community partners—to grow, lead, and create change together. Her supportive leadership style fosters trust, inclusion, and a shared sense of purpose across every initiative she touches. We are very proud to have Brittani as our team member.

curt davis, CADC-CAS

Drug and alcohol counselor

Curt is an experienced and compassionate counselor who provides expert care and support to clients, struggling with a variety of substance abuse issues and mental health disorders. Curt understands the underlying causes of addiction; he is helping clients learn coping strategies and recognize their unique triggers. “I enjoy a unique opportunity to help clients change their lives and strengthen our communities. Curt believes that its a rewarding experience to give back and make a positive difference in the world, “one person at a time”.

Laura WOOLDRIDGE, RADT

Support staff

Laura is a dedicated and empathetic Drug and Alcohol Counselor with many years of experience providing compassionate care to individuals struggling with substance use challenges. She fosters a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their recovery journey. Skilled in educating clients on coping strategies, recognizing triggers, and developing effective relapse prevention plans, Laura also provides crisis intervention and ongoing emotional support. Beyond counseling, she actively inspires clients to embrace a healthy and balanced lifestyle—encouraging regular exercise, wellness routines, and positive daily habits that strengthen long-term recovery. Laura’s calm presence, motivational energy, and commitment to culturally competent care reflect her deep respect for each client’s unique background and potential for transformation.

Anthony Eulloqui

Certified peer support specialist

Anthony is a compassionate and dedicated Certified Peer Mentor supporting people and youth in the mental health and recovery field. With a strong commitment to advocacy and encouragement, Anthony helps individuals and youth build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and feel safe and supported within a positive therapeutic environment. Anthony holds a Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification and has also completed coursework in Alcohol and Drug Studies at San Bernardino Valley College. Drawing from a diverse background in leadership, coaching, and hands-on work settings, Anthony brings patience, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills to every interaction. In addition to clinical work, Anthony volunteered as a Cross Country coach in Palos Verdes, mentoring youth while teaching teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Professional experience in event coordination and marine operations has strengthened communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities. Anthony is passionate about guiding young people toward healthier choices, offering meaningful peer support, and helping them recognize their strengths and potential for growth.
